The implementation of the project will involve organizations and istitutions supporting professional development of young people. Applying institution- SOSW in Strzelno, partner intermediary institution - Voluntarimini.
For the good preparation of the project and in order to ensure its proper implementation tasks are divided between all partners and developed in regards to certain responsibilities.
The group of participant will consist of 20 people- Vocational School students of following profiles : cooks, pastry chefs and household
These are students from small towns and rural areas , partly derived from pathological families with low social status . These people are mentally handicapped ( mental retardation ), but physically fit . Those are young people aged 16-20 years.
The project responds to the needs of youth with mental retardation .
The project aims at organizing work placements taking into account the psychological and physical predispositions of students in order to prepare them for their future profession. During the internship , students will perform tasks in accordance with the curriculum for each profession. Work experience of mentally handicapped in addition to the economic, is also important for rehabilitation , because it is a source of satisfaction and motivation for further development. In addition, persons with mental disabilities , thanks to professional work become fully prepared for life in society. By participating in an internship abroad , students will be better prepared to function independently in society. The situation , when they are in a new place, but acompanied by well-known colleagues and supervisors , will affect the development of their autonomy and socialization at the same time . This will help to strengthen the motivation to learn the profession.
Certificates issued will strengthen their position in the labor market .
Internships will be held in Rimini , duration : 14 days , the term : IV 2016
