The main aim of the project entitled: “Foreign traineeship as an investment in your professional success” is to develop professional and language competences of the 30 students from the Centre of Economics and Commerce Education in Tarnowskie Gory, which will help them find employment when they graduate. The participants of the project will be the second- and third-grade students who specialise to be economics technicians and advertising technicians. The students will take part in 4-week apprenticeships in German companies. They will be accompanied by two teachers. The participants will gain practical skills relevant for their future professions, they will develop their social and interpersonal competences and get work experience in an international surrounding. The kind of experience that they will get should be fruitful both for their future careers and for their further education, for example at a university. The project will also affect the school itself. The Centre of Economics and Commerce Education is going to become a better school thanks to participating in an international programme. The staff members who are involved in preparing and carrying out the project will develop their competences, get new experience which is going to help them create and run similar programmes in the future. The school will be more recognizable locally and internationally, taking part in such activity will increase its prestige. The project will affect the school syllabuses to make student training better and more attractive.
