Praktyka za granicą - szansa na lepszą przyszłość
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The main aim of the project called “Foreign Traineeship is a Chance for a Better Future” is to develop the practical skills and job competences of 30 students from our school through a 4-week foreign traineeship. This project aims at improving the language skills of the participating students (German and English), gaining knowledge and skills connected with the automotive industries, expanding work experience, developing their openness, tolerance, initiative and mobility which should give them better chances of employment on the European work market. The students will take part in traineeships in Vitalis, a company from Gut Wehlitz near Leipzig, where they will design and build a one-seater buggy car with electric drive and solar power panels. Vitalis was chosen as a partner for this project, because it has got serious experience in doing foreign mobility projects – traineeships and job practices. It specialises at several branches of professional trainings, including car mechanics, which is our school's specialization. As a result of the project the participants will get new work experience, develop their job skills and competences, develop their ability to use German in real-life situations, learn specific vocabulary characteristic for the automotive industry, raise their personal and cultural competences. Thirty participating students will obtain the Europass-Mobility and ECVET certificates as well as written confirmations of the traineeship and individual assessments. The project will influence both the students and their school. The students will get knowledge concerning their future profession and using foreign languages, that will make them more attractive at the competitive work markets. The school will be able to undertake further innovative actions and improve ways to influence its students. Thanks to this project the school will make its teaching syllabuses more attractive for young people, shape them to suit the students' needs and expectations. In this way it will be more attractive locally and able to act at the European market.
