The project uses modern methods of assessment and certification, based on learning outcomes.Project realization is expected to last for 2 years. It is designed for technical college students as well as vocational school students from ZSSB. The school’s partners are institutions from Germany and Portugal. The project involves practical training for one group of 18 students in Germany and 18 students divided in 2 groups with 9 students each. The training will last 3 weeks. The main aim of the project is to acquire new vocational skills by involved student, e.g.: getting practical usage of modern technologies connected with automotive branch, building branch and mechanical branch. Students will be provided with practical training in German and Portuguese specialized workshops chosen by the partners and accepted by the sending organisation. What's more, German workshops are known to the workers of sending organization from the previous shared projects. As to Portuguese workshops, they were visited by the school coordinators during their job shadowing project in October 2015.Next important goal of the project is to improve participants language skills. It concerns not only breaking barriers but also developing speaking and listening skills. But most of all, it is about familiarizing students with German and English technical language to improve students' language competences. Both foreign partners are going to prepare special cultural programmes for participants in order to develop their cultural competences. Students will acquaint themselves with countries, their histories, culture and traditions through visiting German and Portuguese cities. The sending organization is going to support all participants with proper transport, insurance policies and language courses. Students will be accompanied by supervising teachers and they are going to get dictionaries and protective clothing. Before students go for their practical training, there will be many activities undertaken in order to prepare their training period professionally. These activities involve students pedagogical and cultural preparation. As to the hosting organisations, they will provide accommodation, food, local transport and sightseeing. Project is planned to be monitored by all partners and when the project finishes, the impact will be put on successful evaluation, dissemination and exploitation of results. Essential results will include broadening and gaining new vocational skills confirmed with special certificates delivered by hosting companies (including Europass Mobility). The project evaluation activities will include: questionnaires, observations, raports and project documentation and will be done by the participants, sending and hosting organisations. All the evaluation results are going to ensure quality improvement of the future activities. Thorough analysis of undertaken actions is planned to be part of European School Development Programme so as to improve the quality of teaching and the image of ZSSB gradutes. Thanks to taking part in the project, students will learn more, will be more self - confident and they will be able to pass their professional exams. As part of dissemination, a special conference is going to be organised. It is for representatives of cooperating companies, school – board, city hall, project participants, teachers, students and parents. The project will have strong impact on participants, school itself, local community and the whole region because it will prepare 36 young people to better and more effective work. Thanks to final mobility assessment prepared according to ECVET rules, students will be able to gain easier recognition of their skills and qualifications. Additionally, the project will contribute to higher competitiveness of ZSSB on the educational market, higher school enrolment and its prestige. The project becomes part of European School Development Programme because the applying institution is aware of the necessity of undertaking such projects. In order to be qualified for European projects, students are doing their best to have better grades because they are important in recruitment process. In addition to this, the school will compete in order to get financial support for projects. ZSSB want to be open to international cooperation because it brings benefits not only to students but also to teachers. Projects realisation enables development in many fields, e.g. project management or learning foreign languages. ZSSB is the institution that will make all necessary efforts to ensure the highest quality of the project it planned.
