In accordance with the agreement of cooperation between two schools, the German Berufsbildende Schule Ammerland from Rostrup and the Zespół Szkół Technicznych (the Technical Secondary School Complex) from Pleszew, the students exchange program from these partner schools has been carried out for 15 years. The foundation of this cooperation is provided by the agreement signed by both districts, the German in Amerland and the Polish in Pleszew. Having planned a long-term cooperation, the German and Polish schools have applied for subsidies so that the project can be continued to be realised. The project is to cover the work experience abroad for the students of our school where they will be working as trainees in German industrial and craft plants .The two- week work experience of students from Pleszew is to be preceded by the work experience of German students from Amerland in production plants in the Pleszew district. All of the students taking part in the project will be working as trainees together both in Pleszew and in Germany. The work experience consists of a monthly schedule of vocational training covered by the general outline of technical education. In Pleszew, the majority of the training takes place in Famot, which is a limited liability company, the Polish branch of German concern Deckel Maho Gildemeister, and in Germany in industrial plants. The project is planned for the years 2016-2017 and anticipates the group of 8 students going to Germany every year of these two years. The participants of the project are to be the students of mechatronics technology technical school, catering college and economics technical school. The hard core of the work training is going to be represented by the students of the technical school of mechatronics technology. The training classes are to cover the elements of the electric drive of the machine tools, their control, automation and robotic aspects. To meet the needs of the job market there is the necessity of training highly qualified experts in this trade and business. Thanks to the opportunity of this work experience abroad it is significantly possible. The students of economics technical school are to enhance their work experience by working at the large production companies where they will be introduced to the most up- to- date executive, administrative techniques with the aid of ultra-modern information technologies. The students of the catering college are going to elevate their knowledge and practice by working and learning within the mass catering environment with access the most modern technology used in managing large catering enterprises along with acquainting themselves with the preparation of the regional cuisine dishes. The accomplishment of the traineeship aims are realized by raising vocational qualifications, by gaining work experience abroad, by enhancing workforce mobility of young adults seeking work as well as mastering the foreign languages. The work experience abroad enhances the prospects of viewing new technologies, new work environments and establishing new relationships with foreign peers. Moreover, the traineeship helps to overcome cultural barriers in addition to taking up and continuing the cooperation in pursuit of our mutually defined goals. The work experience and knowledge gained abroad are to enhance the chances of its participants to find a job on a local or European job market.
