The project is requested by the IES No.1 - LIBERTAS that is situated in Torrevieja, Alicante. It is a coastal town where the main economic activities are tourism and several companies from fishing, agricultural, industrial, services and commercial sector. Our institution is located in a region that receive a lot of immigrants so there are many different nationalities among students : Latin American countries , European countries, countries of Eastern , African and Asian countries. Our institution is teaching Secondary Education, High School Education and Vocational Education. There are 77 people working in our organization and 760 students.The purpose of the project is to ask for 4 movilities for a training period for a group of students in French companies , this period belong to the official diploma, students will have a title of Technician when they will finish this period.The project objectives are:students will achieve a diploma ; they will learn and improve knowledge of the French language ; to increase their level of maturity , independence and decision-making capacity ; Acquisition of multicultural awareness and learn to respect people with different customs and ways of doing things : Implement in a real working environment the knowledge acquired at school ; to increase their chances of finding work ; to motivate student to go on in school; to create a network of contacts for further collaboration in future projects.Participants are students of the Intermediate Vocational Education on Commercial Activities and students of the Intermediate Vocational Education on Administrative Management .They are young students , between 16 and 20 years old. None of them have never traveled or lived abroad.Therefore sutdents do not have experience in working life, in assuming responsibilities and in resolving events themselves.Academically, students are responsible, they regularly attend class and they study .Previous studies by all of them are basic , title of the ESO ; basic level in English and French.The activities to be undertaken in the project are related to the studies that students are doing. They will do a training period of 380 hours at least in French companies in its regular schedule. They are going to work in a real professional environment, it is planned commercial functions for students from commercial activities vocational education and functions of management, administration and business organization for students from Administrative Management vocational education.To carry out the project we will follow the following methodology: at the beginning, to informe students about the country, French companies, the host, the activities to be performed, length of time, responsibilities of students and others participants, accommodation and monitoring; after that, travel arrangements, arrival in the country, meeting with the French school and learners accomodation. The tutor of our institution will take each of the students to their companies; Monitoring students through continuous contact with learners and with tutor of the company; Completion of the training period. After that, our tutor will accompany students on their return; Meeting with students on arrival to discuss the traineeship; Student assessment; future interview with students to know their work or academic situation.The expected results in the short term and in the future are:For students they are : obtaining a degree ; Mature, more independent and become operative ; Improving their cultural level ; They gain greater cultural awareness ; They learn another language ; Motivation for further study ; Increase their chances for employment.For participating institutions : contact will take to other projects in the future; recognition as institutions concerned with education.For others : impact on other students at the school and in the population of our environment because that will be motivated to participate in these projects and even to initiate studies in order to be able to be part of such projects .
