In the "Practical Work Experience in Portugal" project the following parts will be involved trainees, students from Technological High School George Baritiu – Livada, 10 veterinary technician students of 11th grade 20 technician students in economic activities - Level 3 , which is the promoter and beneficiary of the project, accounting and economic management companies as follows Gestiva-Cabinete de Contabilidade, Gestao e Informatica and RAPORAL, host organizations and a professional association, namely AFPDM Montijo Portugal as an intermediate organization. The purpose of the project is to assist participants to gain applied professional skills and technical competences specific to the qualifications they prepare at the level required by SPP, by the employer and by the current reality of financial accounting and on the labor market .Moreover we want students to improve their language, cultural and social skills, to obtain a rich experience of life abroad, all for a good European labor market insertion (be it internal or external). It is about specialized skills: (UC12) - modern Biotechnology in livestock, (UC9) - Health and safety at work in the veterinary and sanitary domain, (UC25 of SPP) - payment instruments - the knowledge of which and their correct use requires a complex professional training by means of computers, specialized accounting software, software for issuing documents, in a private environment with unrestricted access. Because the effects of the financial crisis are felt in our county and city, a significant number of companies have been forced to close their doors and the unemployment rate being rising we believe that our students will be disadvantaged in practical training internship at economical agents being unable to benefit of sufficient methods of information and knowledge, that is operating with current payment instruments and electronic means of issuing and recording them, specific activities on animal farms. For these reasons we want them to have the opportunity to perform practical training on farms respectively in companies situated in the Single European Payments Area (SEPA) Portugal in this situation, which operate with all types of payment instruments, are open and share their resources for practical training with our students on a component of striking importance in the development of the economic and financial operations of the respective company. The goals we set are: O1 Professional development through knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to the labor market in an international context and their recognition, thus contributing to a cohesive society. O2. Enhancing competences and language skills, broadening cultural horizon by contact with a multicultural environment in EU countries. O3. Developing social skills by acquiring communication skills at work (in team, with employers and with clients) and modelling a European professional behavior. By the end of the project’s implementation, we consider that we will get the following results: -30 students endowed with good professional and individual skills, a better indicator of employability for the economic profile - Creating a sustainable partnership structure regulated by solid European Conventions, Memorandum of Understanding with EU economic agents of profile to organize internships for students performed in another country, to recognise and transfer competences by means of ECVET - Teaching materials, press materials, a lot of accumulated experience which will contribute to the promotion of quality in initial vocational education and training and to the improvement of mobility at the level of European Union.
