The project was focused on gastronomy study programmes, especially on the target group from the confectioner´s study programme whose home institution was SOŠ a SOU Polička. The project was created on the basis of needs to connect the students´ education with the national standards. The aim of the project was to organize the practical training for students at the partnership school in Italy. This practical training was involved in the students´ study programme.
The trainees were the second-year and third-year students of gastronomy and confectioner´s study programmes.
The activities were focused on the practical training of those students whose aim is to make cakes and restaurant desserts; serve and prepare desserts.
The methodology of the project was divided between the visiting and hosting organizations. The visiting organization was in charge of the successful running of this project following the schedule of the project application. The visiting organization managed the target group, economic aspect following the given budget and the final evaluation. The hosting organization was in charge of accepting the students to its school, their accommodation, meals and the professional lessons following the national qualification standards.
The result of this project was the professional students´ training in the gastronomy field focusing on Italian cuisine following NSK valid for the confectioner´s study programme.
