48th kindergarten with integrational units has its main aims defined into the need of providing high-quality actions towards healthy lifestyle – which covers both nutrition and physical activities. What is more, our kindergarten highlights the need of constant development of teachers and learning by doing attitude in educational style. Regretably, a non-effective implementation of physical education is frequently noticed, along with irrational use of time intended for this part of pre-school education. Curriculum for early – age points out the main aim for educators, which is care about students` health and physical agility, encouraging to their participation in physical games and sport activities. No less important there is building children knowledge and skills about social, natural and technical world, and developing their skills of communicating with this world in comprehensible way. We see the perspective of efficient actions in wide – ranging attitude towards health issues and diagnosing children, parents and teachers needs in collaboration with local environment. Actions are urgently needed according to what is observable – overweight and obesity among children, spending 10 hours a day in a kindergarten while reducing the time outdoors with parents ( both for undisabled children and disabled ones), intensity of absence on health matter. Importance of taking actions against these effects is the main reason for creating this project.Kindergarten actions in this matter are nowadays a part of official strategy, within a programme “Health promoting School”, which should be complemented into conceptions and experience of different schools across European countries. We see the outdoor education idea close and constructive for creating and evaluating our conception of work and curriculum aims. We find an attitude towards relationships between parents, teachers, kindergarten and local environment precious for achieving common goals in creating the surroundings foster for social, physical and educational development of students. We see the need for School staff development in creating intercultural surrounding among themselves and students, through strengthen the quality and gaining European dimension of learning. Moreover, idea of outdoor learning broadens our educational offer, as it can be an important part of learning-by doing method of education and revival of disabled children.Six teachers who apply for being participants for „Outdoor education, landscape and outdoor venus- learning under open sky” are very well-qualified both in pre-school education area and special education. They vary from few year experience to longstanding work with young learners. „Outdoor education, landscape and outdoor venus- learning under open sky” seminar is organized by Cursus Iceland, Reykjavik. Cursus Iceland has organized outdoor events and seminars for teachers from all over Europe. The organisation has a good reputation and is participating in the development of the practice on a European level. The aim of the seminar is to provide teachers and trainers of young adults, knowledge and tools to engage in the matter of outdoor education, giving them solid overview on a topic. Seminar topics are led by recognized experts, academics, researchers and practitioners. The seminar we apply for consists of lectures, workshops, field trips, observations, hands-on learning, discussions, tasks and physical activities, and as well social activities and exchange the best practices in Icelandic schools and kindergartens. We are convinced that attending the seminar will affect on increase of innovation and creativity of teachers, who will use outdoor educational methods in their work with disabled and undisabled children and parents. Practical skills in organizing activities and achieving educational curriculum aims outside of the building are essential. Changes are also planned for a garden area for improvement of its use for educational and physical purposes. Activities based on a contact and relation with nature and social surroundings are going to be organized in collaboration with parents and local authorities for that to let children benefit from their own environment and culture. What is very important, taking part in a seminar will build up teachers motivation to learn foreign languages and using skills in practice. Creating Europass tools will help them clarify qualifications and skills previously and newly gained. Experience of other schools abates in transferring and implementation of new solutions and methods into kindergarten everyday work and its conception in promoting healthy lifestyle.Prestige of kindergarten open to collaboration with partner schools and organizations will rise, as well as the variety of methods and technologies used for creating collaboration and materials for next eTwinning projects. It has an influence on creation and sustain an image of kindergarten already seen as an innovative lifelong learning .
