The project "Improving the skills and competencies of the students in real multicultural environment”, which is a beneficiary from PGLPT was developed in accordance with the Strategy for the Development of Vocational Education 2014-2020 of the European Commission, Ordinance №1 / 08.09.2015 the terms and conditions for training through work / dual training /, The Act on pre-school and school education and development strategy of PGLPT.Partner of the project is Training Vision Ltd, Portsmouth, United Kingdom. The Mobility will take place in accordance with the work program, agreed and signed with the partner during 26.03.2017g. to 04.09.2017. The final beneficiaries are 20 students from grades 11 and 12 - 10 from specialty "Economics and Management", 10 from specialty "Guide services" and two accompanying teachers. In July 2016 the principal will conduct a preliminary site visit within 5 working days for knowing the work places, mentors and living conditions in which the students will be accommodated. Knowledge, skills and competences obtained during the training will be validated by a certificate Europass mobility and certificate held manufacturing practice in a real business environment. By decision of the pedagogical Council of PGLPT-conducted by the students mobility in the United Kingdom will be considered as a production practice in the specialty.At the current stage of economic development of our country there is a mismatch between the requirements of the labor market and professional competencies of young people who have received secondary education and vocational training in vocational schools.As the main objective set by the strategy for development of the school is to provide a European vocational education of young people in close cooperation with the business through internationalization of the learning process for the realization of the European labor market, whose member is Bulgaria. This motivates the team PGLPT to develop and implement this project, whose main objective is to upgrade and enhance the professional skills and competencies of students by providing a work placement in a real and multicultural business environment.Specific objectives:-To increase motivation, professional and personal growth and self-esteem of young people;-- To acquaint young people with the best European practices in the organization and implementation of vocational education to improve quality and competitiveness of the European labor market;- To promote lifelong learning.- To improve linguistic skillsThe project objectives will be implemented conditionally passing through three stages:- Preparatory - development, coordination and signing of a work program with the partner- selection of beneficiaries, getting acquainted with the activities of the work program, conducting special and cultural preparation, signing contracts with beneficiaries, insurance, ticketing, preparing a presentation of PGLPT and Valley of Roses and Thracian Kings, development of questionnaires and diaries for manufacturing practice.- Actual - conducting a two-week manufacturing practice in strict compliance with the work program, monitoring the individual development of each participant, completing the diaries to conduct production practice, completing questionnaires.- Conclusive - analysis of the activities, reporting, dissemination of project results among students, teachers and parents of PGLPT, representatives of local businesses directly connected with professional preparation and realization of students, related vocational schools in municipality, state institutions and public organizations multiply the results of the project.Expected results of mobility are:Increased and improved professional skills of beneficiaries in a real multicultural business environment that will use in their future career;- Improving foreign language communication and personal skills in an unfamiliar environment;- Gained valuable experience of teamwork;- Providing the opportunity for application of acquired in terms of the Bulgarian educational system - theoretical knowledge into practice in a multicultural business environment;- Promoting mobility between European countries;- Encouraging young people to become acquainted with European best practices to improve the quality of vocational training;- Enriched knowledge of the history and culture of the United Kingdom;- Popularized Bulgarian educational system, history, tradition and culture;- Increasing the competitiveness of the labor market.
