Context in which the project is set: Considering the geographic location, the socio-economic setting in which the group of schools is located, we believe to have through this project, straightened the relationship between education, technology and interactive language. Thus promoting the development of competences in the students such as autonomy, initiative, problem solving capacities, digital literacy, adaptation to diverse contexts, creativity and innovation. The involvement of parents has also been favoured as well as the reinforcement of their connection to school. Promoting the use of varied mobile technologies in classroom context, in several school levels, has changed the traditional methodological approach used until now: .it improved the quality of school success; .it improved the educational efficiency of teachers leading to an optimizing of time and resources; .it enriched the learning of concepts by using digital information and communication technologies relating them to a real world (more global education) and linking formal learning to non-formal and informal learning; .it promoted the digital literacy of different members of the school community (teachers/students/parents) These aims were attained through the implementing of specific project activities such as: .teachers who participated in the peer training shared acquired software knowledge to be used with tablets / smartphones, with tools such as Dropbox, Keynote, Calameo, Prezi, Navydys, etc. .making all information about the training available on the Moodle platform – Teachers area; .the planning and accomplishing of curricular activities in the classes of the teachers involved in the project (French, chemistry and physics, philosophy and Integration area) as well as in other school subject areas by implementing innovative methodologies; .planning of reading, analysis and writing activities and assessment tools, through the use of digital tools, namely the app Navydys, for SEN students and specifically dyslexic ones; .implementing of a reading project through the school library using tablet computers and apps; .building of the site www.aepcastelo.weebly.com that publicizes all extracurricular activities of the schools (projects, clubs…); .weekly meeting of the Tablets and APPs Club in the school library of the main school, open to all lower secondary and secondary students, coached by teachers with training in those areas; .Leituras em Linha.- Reading and drama Project (e-books) held in the local municipal library in partnership with the libraries of the Group of Schools; .regular and systematic use of Dropbox to share information and carry out collaborative activities among teachers, between teachers and students and among students; .some of the apps of this project were shared and have henceforth been used in Erasmus+ (K2) project activities, such as Books&MORE and Message – Make students Addictions Free, projects in which the school is partner; .publishing in the school newspaper, school website and local press of the activities and relevant information related with the project development; .carrying out a credited teacher training course open to all teachers of the schools belonging to the EDUFOR teacher training centre, responsible for its organization and to which the school belongs to; .The four teachers that participated in the teacher training “Pour une utilisation active des techonogies mobiles en classe” teach different subject areas – French, Philosophy, Physics and Chemistry and Mathematics. Three of them are full time teachers in their subject area and have experience in intermediate management (Department Coordination, Subject Group representative, Class teacher, Project implementation and Project Coordination, the fourth teacher is at present School Director. Impact of expected results: Teachers and students have been changing their attitude towards keeping updated in the specific area of ICT. Most of them accept with enthusiasm the introducing of those mobile technologies in school context. The use of these tools makes personalized learning easier, immediate and in real time. It also allows the creation of new learners communities and turns learning into a continuous process showing the connection between formal and non-formal education. With the use of mobile technologies in school context is perceivable a broader scope and equality of opportunities in education as well as a productive time usage in classroom context. The potential long term advantages will make the students become more active European citizens, endowed with competences concerning digital literacies, which will allow them to recognize the importance of ICT.
