Twenty-five years after the adoption of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) unanimously by the general assembly of the United Nations (UN), 20 November 1989, the issue of effective implementation of children's rights is still a topical issue. While in theory the child rights enjoy relative recognition, the passage from intentions to achievements stil difficult. But the children's rights is not decreed, they apply. But acting for the realization of the rights of the Child in non-formal education in Europe means to think or rethink teaching practices in leisure centres. Consequently, the Departmental Association of Francas Vosges organizes the Wednesday, May 18 to Friday, May 20, 2016 in partnership with several youth organizations in Europe in Gerardmer (88400), a European seminar of meetings and exchanges of good practices. Young Europeans working in the non-formal education field exchange with each other and with policy makers and youth experts on the issue of consistency in teaching practices with respect for Rights of the Child.This seminar of young Europeans " For a pedagogical practice of children's rights " will form part of a structured dialogue project with a duration of 18 months. Based on project teaching, cooperation action will involve young people aged 18-30 years from different European countries as well as policy makers and youth experts, in order to produce a political contribution educational practices favor the effective implementation of children's rights in the field of non-formal education. Project of collective intelligence, the seminar aims to enable young Europeans their practical action for the respect of children's rights. For acting as close to the ground on the methods implemented by youth workers and within youth organizations, these young Europeans will be able to influence and steer towards coherent pedagogical practices with the International Convention on the Rights of the Child in Europe.
