Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Postpartum early discharge programme, which has been a widespread health policy, is only a safe practce when it supported by services in our days all over the world. Because, limiting of care and educational services taken by woman who discharged early in postpartum period may be give way to a lot of risks related to their healths. Postpartum homecare services provide more possibilities for development of evaluation and education / consultation services, increase of the baby care capabilities of confined mothers, and also provision of development of critical solutions and evaluation of home security with the family than home care and physical care self. It is known that mother-child deaths can be prevented by having safe births and routine postnotal home care and in that case our project aims to provide a good home care in our neighbourhood and country. In our country home care in postpartum is supported by the family medicines with policy of transmutation in health. Also it is informed that ' observation of postpartum is done only in some situations like vaccination and mothers can not get enough information from nurses.' With the educations that are students will get, they will be able to use them in their fields. Increasing the level of health of mother and baby at national and international level will create an awareness on the society, health staff and candidate health staff and will show the qualification of the health service. That will provide to decrease the rate of baby deaths which is higher than advanced countries rate of baby deaths. It will provide to update the information of postpartum homecare services, renew the pedagogical skills of the target group ‘health staff’, perform the informations that will be gained after educational seminars, strengten the professional qualifications of teachers and it will increase the quality of training . Our goal is that firstly, our students will monitor and learn the process of postpartum nursing home care in Europe. Secondly, as a result of monitoring and learning flows of the postpartum home care services in Europe, it is certification of skills that our students will gain and recognition of the certification in our country. During the project 15 students from 12th grade nursery students who are eleminated, 2 profession teachers and 1 English teacher who have key roles in project will attend an educational programme that is three weeks. The mobility that will take place in abroad is planned as a two flows. 7 students and 1 attendant teacher to Germany flow, 8 students and 2 attendant teachers to Netherland will attend.
