The Project entitled: “The facilitation of key competences and skills at the AKWER Foundation” aims at fostering of quality, innovation excellence and internationalisation. It especially focuses on intensifying the transnational cooperation between institutions involved in organisation of training and education and the interested stakeholders. Additionally, it concentrates on improvement of teaching and learning of foreign languages and promoting language variety of the European Community and thus on broadening the multicultural awareness. The project will involve 11 participants who have the experience in carrying out activities in the field of education and raising qualifications of adult learners. The project assumes carrying out activities that would be indispensable to achieve high quality results. In the period between 1st June 2015 and 31st May 2017 the following aims are going to be completed: participation in courses and training sessions, job-shadowing (learning to perform a task at a given position by means of observation), as well as, in order to examine the results that will be obtained, additional workshops will be carried out at the site of the receiving organisation. Performing the abovementioned activities guarantees full achievement of the expected results, which would be to intensify transnational cooperation and to enhance the quality and the innovation of the activities of the Foundation. The opportunity to start and develop longstanding and vibrant relationships for the future is also a very important aspect. As a result the Region of Lower Silesia will gain employees who are more competent and aware of their European identity. The activities will be accomplished in cooperation with a partner who is experienced in the field of education of adult learners. The partner is going to be selected in correspondence to the received feedback to the specific needs of the participants - Fortbildungsakademie der Wirtschaft gGmbH.
