The participants of the project will be two groups, 12 people each, of third-grade students of Hotel and Catering Secondary School in Rzeszów. The students are trained in the following occupations: Hotel Assistant, Nourishment and gastronomic Service Specialist as well as Waiter. The objective of the internship is to assist the vocational students in obtaining and using knowledge, skills and qualifications which will increase their job perspectives on European labour market as well as allow the mobility of working trainees and improving the attractiveness of vocational education. The students` internship will take place in January and February in Club Hotel Regina e Fassa in the Italian Dolomites. During the internship the students will be performing duties in the hotel reception, the hotel kitchen and the restaurant. Their main task will be serving international guests using the English language. The Participants of the internship will thus gain an exceptionally valuable experience, which may be helpful while looking for a job on both Polish and European job market. The expected results of the proposal are: the students will use the knowledge they gained at school in practice, they will get acquainted with the latest trends in catering and hospitality, they will improve their foreign language skills (basic skills in Italian and vocational English), they will obtain a Europass Mobilty certificate confirming their taking part in an internship and acquiring skills, language certificate and vocational achievements certificate. Another advantage of the internship will be the opportunity to develop interpersonal and social skills as well as getting to know Italian culture and traditions. The results of the internship will include promotional materials prepared by the participants of the internship, i.e. a multimedia presentation and internship reports which will be published on the school's website. The school will go into cooperation with a new partner from abroad, it will get new experience when it comes to raise European funds, create opportunities for teacher development for the teachers implementing the project. Last but not least, the school's offer will be enriched which will improve its attractiveness on a local education market.
