„Creative recycling” is a project of youth exchange from Poland, Lithuania and Hungary including 12 young people and two leaders from each country, in all 42 persons. Project will be implemented from 01.06 to 01.09.2015., but youth exchange will be realized from 03 to 10 July 2015 in European Center of Education and Upbringing in Roskosz, Poland. The project will connect young people from different countries who recognize the risks associated with pollution of nature, who wish to take different actions to protect the environment, promoting and encouraging others to do the proper segregation of waste and taking care of the environment in their immediate area. Youth will participate in recycling workshops, during which they will do the objects and ornaments of unnecessary things, using them later to the arrangement of the community center, take part in the cleaning of the river, organize and lead a picnic recycling for the local community.
Main aim of project is promoting protection of the environnement, advancing common understanding between young people in different countries, developing creativity and stimulating the activity of both the local community and to build a common Europe, the promotion of healthy lifestyle, promoting legacy and intercultural dialogue, learning about other cultures and evolve a sense of solidarity, tolerance and understanding of otherness. The project includes environmental issues, recycling, connection of handicraft with recycling, promotion of activities in nature, exploring the cultural heritage of other countries. The project will promote activities for the local community, environmental protection and recycling.
The opportunity to take action and participate in the international exchange stimulates young people to demonstrate their own initiative, activity, will believe in yourself, encourage learning about the cultures of other countries, to learn foreign languages, to develop their interests, will acquire new competencies and skills through non-formal learning and becoming aware of the learning process. Youth engaging in the project and its operation will be arousing their social activity, initiative, creativity, curiosity, commitment, passion cognitive, develop intergenerational relations with the local community, you will see that it is worth to be active and to act for and in partnership with others.
