Pomagamy seniorom. Budowlańcy i informatycy Zespołu Szkół Technicznych na zagranicznych stażach zawodowych
Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Dec 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The aim of the project is to prepare students attending the Complex of Technical Schools in Wodzislaw Slaski on the directions: IT specialist and construction technician, to effectively look for a job and get their first job after graduating. It is essential that this should occur as soon as possible after obtaining professional qualifications. One of the factors that would help in that intention is to provide students with the skills and competences that are desired by future employers seeking employees who represent a high level of substantive and social skills. The interviews and surveys show that young people have too little professional training to work in the health care centers with sick, elderly or disabled people, and that is the most wanted. However, the work refers not only to taking care but creating friendly environment, helping sick and elderly people to function properly. One of the innovative therapeutic solutions is creating multisensory surgeons. To create such places it requires multilevel skills; construction, architectural and Information ones. To learn students how to create such places, it was decided to let them learn this type of solutions in Germany and Great Britain. Based on acquired skills, students will prepare the multisensory surgeon in the Silesian Health Center in Wodzislaw Śląski. The project will be attended by 34 students of the construction technician - training in Germany; and 17 students- IT specialists, in the UK. During this professional practice the students will become familiar with the design and execution of the workshop - construction technicians, and preparing software for the surgeon – IT specialists. The aim of the training is not only to prepare the surgeon, but also the students will prepare workshops for schools in Wodzisław Śląski district, the curriculum for vocational education subjects will be extended to the issues learnt during the training within the innovation of teaching in school year 2017/2018. The project will have an impact on many levels - organizing a conference summarizing the work of trainees and their foreign trip, other institutions of care and environment from the district of Wodzisław will be invited and encouraged to create the place prepared by students, within the EU project, as an example of leading-care facilities in Germany and the United Kingdom. As a part of the training, students will visit the places, in which the multisensory surgeons function successfully and they will meet with people who deal with the execution of such places every day. The students will publish newsletter, available on the project website and a paper form for all interested.
