Pollution? Solution? Revolution!!!
Start date: May 1, 2009,

Our exchange will be between two youth groups, ZAK Ibrag from Malta and Arka from Lithuania. Togehter we form one group of around 40 people; balanced in gender and age. The exchange will be hosted by the Maltese Group. It will take place at the Archbishop Seminary tal-Virtu', Rabat, Malta. It will last 10 days. Our aim is to create awareness about the present environment situation in both countries and to contribute in a creative way to inform and educate people about various environmental issues. Given that the project will deal with an issue that is of great importance to the EU, and since we will be taking action in this respect, we forecast that the project will engage young people in active European citizenship. The fact that the group is composed of young people coming from different regions in Europe, we will be working hard on developing a sense of solidarity and tolerance amongst us.We plan to think about and define the environmental problems that the world is facing. We will then point out situations that can be found in both countries and organise activities to bring out these global problems . We will then think about solutions to deal with such problems in both countries from different points of views. We will come up with new and innovative ideas that can be put into action in the society to help reduce environment harm.At the end of the day it will make us more self-conscience about the actions and how they affect the environment; to change our attitutude and so we can reduce not only our, but also the commuties' carbon footprint; to change and inspire us to make more environment friendly deicisions and so build a better, cleaner Europe.
