The project is directed to 16 students Vocational School in Żarki Department of Vocational Training in Katowice, who are trained in the profession of cook and fitter construction and finishing works in construction. Students who participate in the project so far have not had opportunities of studying abroad, in order to follow practices. This project will give them a chance to go foreign, and allow you to see the conditions under which foreign neighbors learn a trade. The main idea of the project is to support students who are trained in the School of Professional and to give them practical training opportunities abroad. Acquired knowledge they can use in their future professional life. Through 3-week stay in Berlin will be able to acquire theoretical knowledge, but above all practical. In addition, they will have the opportunity to explore and discover Berlin. An important aspect is also learning the German language. Throughout the stay will be able to develop their language skills. New knowledge and experience will also help in overcoming national stereotypes. One of the ideas of the project is to build an open attitude to other cultures. The three-week internship for a group of 16 students will be held in Berlin, in cooperation with the organization barge.Membership in the European Union offers the opportunity to gain qualifications and skills, and even work outside the country.The main objective is to improve the quality of vocational education through improved knowledge and skills of 16 students Vocational School. Perhaps some of our trainees will succeed in the future to open his own construction company or catering business. Further, but also major objectives of this project are:- Supplement the basic curriculum of the program areas that are not implemented within the school curriculum- Improving knowledge, skills and professional competence of students- Familiarization with the new trends in the profession of- Facilitate the professional development of students- Employability in Poland and Europe- Science work in an international- Increase self-confidence by working in an international environment, overcoming the language barrier and cultural differences, coping in emergency situations- Learn about the culture of another countryMoreover, the project is part of the priorities of the Erasmus +, because it is assumed to facilitate the mobility of young people through validation of experience gained abroad, including by assigning ECVET points, according to the acquired experience. The project involves the comparison of educational paths in vocational education in different countries and ways of validation.The project participants will receive a number of certificates. Before leaving for internships, students will take part in the preparation of the language to be able to communicate and above all use professional vocabulary. It was during internships in companies will hone both their practical skills as well as German. Students receive a certificate of linguistic preparation confirmed by the language teacher.In addition, students will take part in the preparation of pedagogical and cultural, which also confirmed will be certified. This way you can get to know a little country to which they leave for 3 weeks. School teacher with students conduct several activities designed to prepare them for possible stressful situations. Earned the results will be disseminated through:- Placing on the school website information on school participation in the project and exit Erasmus students plus 3-week practice in Germany- Provide information to the local press- Preparation of photographic reportage of practice and place it on the school website and in the school showcase- To inform the school community in an organized meeting where caregivers along with project participants submit a photo report and talk about leaving.
