The main purpose of our project is to increase our teachers’ expertise concerning teaching languages and using modern technologies in the process of education, particularly in math, science and languages. The teachers will attend intensive English courses in Poland and during a two-week stay in the United Kingdom.The project also includes participating in three training courses:September 2016 – four science and language teachers will take part in the course ‘From teachers to facilitators and moderators of a student-centered learning process’ organized in Lisbon, Portugal. This course aims mainly at presenting the methods of teaching based on modern technologies. Our teachers will learn how to use the Moodle platform, will make their own resources on the basis of free applications and will be familiarized with alternative methods of assessment. January 2017 - During the course ‘Using E-learning in the classroom’ in Prague the teachers will be able to improve and practise the skills acquired at the previous course. They will learn how to put technology into practice during their lessons and how to use more advanced Moodle functions to create e-lessons. At the workshops they will make their own courses, familiarize themselves with available resources which they will be able to extend and use in their own courses.April – May 2017 – ‘SCHOOL REVOLUTION! Innovative Didactic Methodologies and the Flipped Classroom’ in Verona, Italy – Thanks to this course our teachers will be able to learn and practise the innovative methodologies, which fully comply with the quality requirements requested by the European programme Europe 2020.Each of these courses will be attended by four teachers. They will have opportunity to learn about history, local culture and will exchange experience with the teachers of other European countries. Priorities of the project:- Better use of school technical facilities- Making education more attractive to students, especially in the fields of science and languages- Introducing new technologies (applications, blended learning) into the curriculum - Training the teachers to make them able to perform international educational projects- Establishing contacts with other schools in the European Union in order to raise the key competences of our students, especially in the fields of science and languages, teaching them how to work in a team and how to share their knowledge with others- Upgrading the quality of school work through participation in interesting international projects- Improving linguistic skills of the teachers in order to take part in job-shadowing and teaching assignments, which will help create a class with English as a language of instruction.Gaining new skills will be proven by corresponding documents, including Europass – Mobility. Apart from the above priorities, another result of the project will be conducting training courses for the remaining teachers during staff meetings, preparing lesson plans with the use of acquired knowledge, sharing them online and publishing the project brochure.
