The main goal of the project "RURAL BUSINESS CALLS FOR FRESH IDEAS" is to support transfer of innovations, knowledge and successfull "fresh ideas" between European partner countries - Slovakia & Italy; between two similar regions - Central Slovakia & Central Italy, Umbria; between educational system providing by school & rural business. The project is dedicated to 20 students of Secondary Vocational School, specialized in doing rural business. Participants should take part in project during two short-term placements (for 3 weeks). We expect an improvement of skills, competencies of our students - incoming farmers and employees in the agricultural sector and related services. The project focuses on showing how the theory operates in real life and how to gain business related skills in establishments of farms and facilities of rural tourism (management, marketing, innovations in animal and plant production). The main used methodology wii be bassed on "learning by doing" with practical activities on farms, traditional food making, promoting services for the public, rural tourism. The project is an opportunity to develop English speaking skills and on the other hand it is "opening the front door" to Italian language, customs and traditions. It will certainly widen students social skills and motivate them in their future. The certificates (Europass, IES..) - European tools for futher career will be given to successfull participants. The results will be presented during events organised by ou school - Farmers Markets, National Beekeeeping Exhibition, Open Day, Rural Parliament Session. And we hope to find new friends and partners for next projects.
