The " Give a hand - start game " the Association " Olympia - 2005 " is a bilateral youth exchange between Bulgaria and Romania. The project aims to create conditions for intercultural dialogue , tolerance and social inclusion of young people by forming habits in young people about healthy lifestyles, active implementation of youth policy towards combat negative prejudices increasing number of young practicing sports activities and outdoor activities.
To achieve the objectives of the project we plan to implement interactive activities - games and competitions for the development of individual skills and strengthening of physical and mental health of young people.
This project will show how even through games in youth can be brought skills to work in a team ; pooling and communication in a multicultural environment in the presence of cultural differences ; problem solving ; motivation for active social behavior; creating a positive opinion of himself ; self-discipline ; public speaking and self-expression for its own achievements.
Through fun games and competitions the participants' attention will be focused on building a more tolerant and solidarity towards people of different cultures that are part of the European family . Different varieties of collective and traditional games are based around that will implement the project activities , and of course we try to concentrate our efforts on finding the link between sport outdoor activities on the one hand and the priorities of the " Erasmus +" and the other - just - to promote the active participation of young people, a healthy lifestyle and their European identity and social.
The main activities planned for youth exchanges are: intercultural evenings , active sports outdoor activities , competitions , games of nations, meetings with local sports organizations related to youth issues , discussions on current youth issues - including prevention harmful addictions , knowledge of foreign cultures , debates, creative activities to acquire new knowledge and skills , presentations and other activities corresponding to the methods of non-formal education. This will demonstrate the unifying nature of the different traditions , good teamwork and initiative of youth in solving European policies.
Together working as a team , in an unconventional way , we will seek innovative approaches to solving various youth problems involves both tolerance, acceptance of diversity , healthy lifestyles and prevention of addictions and aggressive behavior . The project will involve 44 people ( 40 boys and 4 leaders) . We intend to implement the program in Etropole within 10 days in September 2013 .
We believe that , through the participation of young people in informal competitions and games, easily overcome stereotypes and cultural differences and will leave a lasting impression on each of them in their further personal and social development .
