The intent of IES L'Eliana is to design an strategy for improvement in the short and medium term which allows the development and modernization including the opening of the school to the European dimension.The lines for priority actions designed are: the internationalization of the school,multilingualism , development of TIC skills , renovation and methodological diversification (including collaborative international work through Etwinning platform and participation in projects as Lifelong Learning Programme).For that reason,it has been created a group of teachers from different subjects interested in the internationalization of teaching .They will work in different ways in order to purpose to students new activities based in motivating and integrating methodology. We expect that students collaborate with other pupils from different countries in different languages with the aim of providing them skills in order to be open-minded citizens, to broaden their cultural horizon and be able to understand the different realities in Europe and the rest of the world.It has been created an European Coordinator of European programmes who is going to give fresh impetus to this activities.On the basis of these principles, it has been designed a formation project which implies the mobility of ten teachers in order to consolidate their language skills,to learn and develop new technologies with TIC skills updated.These mobilities will be considered necessary to a learning level and very important to establish a network of partners that allow the sustainability of European development plan. This plan will include in a future observation actions (job-shadowing) in countries whose education system has been proved effective with the possibility to exchange teaching periods.As regards students , our aim is opening their learning to the European dimension and the cooperative work as well as awareness of multilingualism benefits. The continuity of the project will take students to their own mobility in different programmes and, we want the consolidation of long duration projects offering a practical experience not only to the theoretical level but also personal maturity .
