IES Cencibel Secondary School is located in Villarrobledo, a town in La Mancha with a population of 27,000 inhabitants. Agriculture, commerce and industry play an important role in the economy of the area and the export sector have significantly increased in recent years.In IES Cencibel we have always wanted to respond to the needs of the people in Villarrobledo, which has led us to support a rich educational offer for Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccaulerate in its three modalities and three Vocational Training cycles. Moreover, in this line, we have always promoted the implementation of new programs as the former Reinforcement, Guidance and Support of pupils, the Bilingual Section in English, now called Language Program for ESO and Cycles and Dual Vocational Training. We also work on numerous Innovation Projects and we collaborate with other institutions such as the University of Castilla-La Mancha.We therefore consider that the participation in European programs Erasmus + is a further step, logically given by the experience of our High School and the spirit of continuous innovation and improvement in the educational practice. Following that line, last year we were granted mobilities for students of Higher Vocational Education and we intend to participate in school partnerships KA2 actions next year. Furthermore, we hope that this project, as well as the mobility of students in Higher Education, can serve as a starting point for increasing our participation in European programs related to job-shadowing and Erasmus + teaching assignment.Regarding teachers’ mobility, it is important to meet IES Cencibel necessities. Therefore, when selecting participants in this mobility, we have established clear criteria to respond to multiple goals. This way, our project will meet the needs expressed by the different studies offered at IES Cencibel. Thus, teachers to participate in training mobility would come from the following areas:-Teachers of the English and French Language Departments-Teachers of subjects included in the Language Program -Teachers Of Higher Vocational Education, specially those of Shipping and Logistics-Other teachers interested in mobility with linguistic accreditation.We intend that all teachers participating in the training mobilities are committed to the project and to the strong belief in the benefits it may have on their daily educational practice and therefore the positive impact both on the students and the entire educational community in Villarrobledo.Since this project is focused on training, it is aimed to improve teachers’ linguistic, pedagogical and didactic skills. In addition, we would establish contact with the organizers and institutions for future projects of teachers and students.We also expect that taking part in training mobilities would allow teachers to transfer the skills and knowledge acquired with their partners to enlarge as much as possible the benefits on these mobilities and then get to the most students. In this way,as the title of this project, we hope these mobilities bring considerable improvement on our teachers’ educational practice; and therefore, our students’ learning and results. Moreover, we hope not only to improve quantitative data, but to accomplish significant improvement on the teaching process and an improvement on our students’ interest in the knowledge of other cultures.To sum up, we think that these mobilities will be highly enriching and they affect favourably the entire educational community, stimulating to a high school that, as ours, is used to taking part in innovative programmes and projects. At the same time, we are convinced that they will be a starting point to keep on collaborating and developing common projects with other European institutions. Definitively, it will improve the teaching practice and methodological innovation and it will have an effect both on the students’ results and our students’ future formative and job goals which is the main aim of this project.
