“” is an educational /artistic project that will bring in Thasos island Greece, 36 young people from six different European countries for ten days from 31 August until 9 September 2014. The young people will prepare a short presentation, (video, power point, interactive) about the traditional games of their countries. They will identify similarities and differences in the games of the European countries and will use them for creating their own multicultural Εurogames. In additional the participants will cooperate with school children and together they will transfer the games, local and eurogames on a schoolyard area! The aim of the project is the dialogue between young people from different countries and with different backgrounds. Working in multicultural groups they will have the chance to meet each other, create strong friendship bonds, improve their foreign language skills and learn to cooperate and share their knowledge. They will also come closer to the Greek way of living and mentality, by contacting locals and kids. At the end of the project we will present the results in an open air celebration, inviting the local community and the school kids. We will also organise a preparatory meeting, for the better organization of the program and the preparation of the partners. The meeting will be held in Thasos island from June 30th to July 3rd 2014.During the meeting the partner organisations representatives, will have the chance to meet the coordinators and the trainers, organise the final program and visit the workshop and accommodation areas.
