PlayBACK to school!
Start date: Aug 1, 2015, End date: Jan 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Jung people who leave school early are frustrated, distrustful and their self- estimation is very low. They can’t function in society in an effective way because of their attitude problems. We think it is important to involve them through increasing their self- estimation and make them believe that they are useful. In our belief their development is possible through special theatrical and self-knowledge training, so called ”Playback theatre” training. The training course “PlayBACK to school!” will take place in Budapest for 9 days. We intend to welcome 9 countries (Croatia, Slovakia, Turkey, Romania, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Hungary), the total is 22 participants. The main topic of our project is help youngsters' social involvement and prevent them from early school leaving. This training is intended for youth workers, teachers, social workers who wants to give a hand to our target group through non-formal methods, such as theatrical and self-knowledge training. Our aim is for the invited partners to take advantage from our provided theatrical, self-knowledge, non-formal methods and to spread our common elaborated methodology in their country that is worked out on the basis of the experiences and working manners of the participants. With the involvement of Aszód Reformatory, Szegletkő Children’s Home and with our experienced trainers’ leadership, we provide the successful implementation of the training. At the end of the training, participants will be able to get to know Hungarian youth who leave school early and they will have the chance to adopt the methods they gained during the training course with our supervision.
