The project entitled "Transnational Placements for Professional EuroCompetences in the Field of Electronic circuits" covers a period of 18 months and aims to improve the training level of participants and to ensure their personal development for a better transition from school to work by conducting suitable traineeships in modern companies equipped with the latest generation technology that connects students to the requirements of a job in UE. The project addresses a total number of 60 VET trainees from the 11th grade, who are students at the technical profile, having the following qualifications: telecommunications technician (electronics - automation specialization), technician in electrical appliances (electrical specialization) and mechatronics (mechanics specialization) and study a specialty module- M9 - Electronic Circuits and provides solutions for the following specific needs of participants:- the acquisition of general and specialized technical skills in a context of modern workplace, familiarization with its features and requirements;- the emphasis on the practical side of training by providing practical training in companies adapted to current technological developments, equipped with modern devices;- the acquisition of key skills that lead to improving the education and training level of participants;- the direct contact with professionals of a high skill level which facilitates their access to information and the latest technology;- the development of necessary skills for employment by developing a positive and responsible attitude for building a career whilst still at school;- the increase of participants’ adaptability to new environments and situations;- the motivation of participants to find a job in the training field or to continue their studies at a higher level;-a greater mobility, increased employability as a result of obtaining certificates that are recognized at European level.The partnership consists of "Traian Vuia" Technical College, Oradea as beneficiary and P. Kousios Electrical Ltd in Paphos and Barceltehnica in Barcelos as host organizations and Rivesco Consulting - Nicosia - Cyprus and Amigos de Mobilidade in Barcelos, Portugal as intermediary organizations.The traineeship will be conducted in two streams, 2 simultaneous mobility activities in each partner country, one in March 2017 and another in November 2017 for a period of 15 days, including 11 actual days of training (2 weeks and one day), because we have established that the traineeship will only consists of those 66 hours of practical training included in the specialty module M9 - Electronic circuits that is part of the training period that includes 90 hours, out of which 24 are laboratory training and 66 are practical training.Project objectives:1. Development of specialized technical skills specific for working in an European environment and their inclusion in the European training route using ECVET tool.2. Personal development of beneficiaries by improving their key skills for a better transition from school to work.3. Acquisition of certifications recognized at European level that enhance the mobility of young people and increase the chances of employability.Intangible expected results are:1. Top level professional skills in the practical training specific for electronic circuits;2. Improvement of key skills: of communication in a foreign language, intercultural, digital, civic, interpersonal, social; 3. Acquisition of Europass Mobility Certificate and certificates of participation in the internship that will facilitate the mobility of participants and increase employability;4. Improvement of self-confidence, more courage, more openness, a clearer picture of the profession and the opportunities offered by the EU;5. Usage of ECVET to ensure the transparency of qualification in different countries;6. Openness to European partners to facilitate the acquisition of information from current and future collaborations.Expected tangible results are:- Specialized portfolios with training materials, assessment tools, daily work sheets that can be used within the hours of practical training;- A practical work guide which includes the description of the practical applications made that can be used in the practical training activity at school;- 4 DVDs (one per mobility) and over 500 photos covering issues during the training, moments from doing electronic assemblies, all of them being an annex of the mentor in charge with the practical training;- a symposium entitled "European Mobilities - Vocational Training Paths Anchored in the Labor Market" with the participation of teachers and students from technological schools in Oradea and surroundings;- A project presentation board at the school level, promotional materials and PPT presentations.
