We asked to send and form 10 teachers to CLIL technics (in english) with 2 objectives: increasing the number of teachers for our european section in High School and for TIE (Technology in English) lessons increasing the number of teachers involved in european projects (Erasmus+; MUN, exchanges...) This is compulsory for the perenity of those activities, as people move on, retire .... So we selected a formal course with IPC Exeter (UK). 9 teachers went, all teachers in mathematics and physics: 3 teach in the European section, and after this course, 2 obtained the official capacity to teach in this option 6 are involved to various degree in our other activities 3 more teachers -sports and humanities- went to the same Erasmus course in 2013, so we have now 12 teachers with CLIL experience. 2 of those 9 teachers were temporary, we choose to offer them this opportunity for their future career. we are sorry we couldn't send the 10th teacher nor the TIE teachers for logistic reasons (course dates were incompatible with our school calendar) But this project is for us succesfull: teachers are more confortable with teaching in a foreign language, interest for our european projects increased amongst adults and students and new activities and different teaching technics are now used in classrooms.
