Start date: May 1, 2015, End date: Oct 1, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Youth Exchange project 'Personal Branding for Youth Entrepreneurship' successfully took place in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain) from 1 to 9 August 2015, with the active participation of (more than) 21 young people, including the 4 leaders from the hosting/coordinating organization (Fundació Catalunya Voluntària) and from other 3 promoter organizations: Coaching 4 EU (Romania), United Societies of Balkans (USB) and EDUQ Association (Poland). The project existed because of the need to respond to the dramatic situation of youth unemployment, which is putting at risk of social exclusion many young people in Europe. Exchange provided concrete solutions based on their own personal situation, interests, talents and skills, helping them build their personal brand, think about their professional interests, reflect on their own abilities, while encouraging them to be part and promote those initiatives which can help them to create their own businesses and projects. The specific objectives of the YE were the following: -To exchange ideas and experience to find solutions for the unemployment issue from a European perspective. -To empower young people to identify and create their own personal brand and offer them tools to promote it efficiently. -To encourage young people to become entrepreneurs and provide them tools to their develop business ideas. -To increase awareness among young people to care and use their digital identity. - To promote solidarity, exchange and cooperation at European level. At the end of the activity each participant and leader received a Youthpass certificate as a recognition for the competencies he or she achieved.
