The purpose of the project Perpetuum Mobile 3 is to connect education with the labor market through mobility and to increase the quality of vocational education in the transport and logistics' sector of the three schools participating jointly in this project. These are: Road Traffic School from Zagreb, Economic School from Čakovec and Mechanical Engineering and Traffic School from Varazdin. We will achieve all this :1. by connecting schools partners in Croatia2. by connecting schools partners to foreign partners from Finland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Portugal, Italy and Slovenia. These are: South Savo Vocational College, Kouvola Region Vocational College and Tampere Vocational College Tredu, (Finland), Croatian Economic Association in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Björknäsgymnasiet (Boden, Sweden), SDE College (Odense, Denmark), APLICAPROPOSTA SA (Braga, Portugal), Institute for Training, Employment and Mobility (Bologna, Italy) and Ocean Orchids d.o.o. (Dobrovnik, Slovenia).The project will engage 92 students and 14 teachers / staff in the sector of transport and logistics.The project aims at final year students or students who completed their education in the transport and logistics' sector and are trained for occupations: motor vehicle driver, road transport technician and logistics and freight forwarding technician. Vocational practical work will take place in companies and / or in specialized classrooms and school logistics' practicums equipped with modern warehouse machinery and equipment, driving simulators and ICT tools used in the transport and logistic activities.During their practical work students will learn about the new working methods and equipment and acquire work experience in an international working environment. Travelling to their destination students will effectively meet the different types of traffic, the procedure related to the air transport of passengers, acquire skills of getting around in airports and develop responsibility and accuracy. Staying in a foreign country will significantly improve their knowledge of English / German and their language competence. During their stay abroad students will become familiar with the culture, customs and lifestyle of the host country. Separation from parents and family will contribute to their independence.Selection of students will be based on the principle of excellence in learning and behavior, whereby the special attention will be paid to equal participation opportunities regarding the gender, nationality or religion. The disadvantaged groups will be encouraged. The professional 5 working days teacher training will be organized in partner institutions in Denmark and Germany.In the Danish vocational school SDE College teachers will learn about the Danish educational system, especially vocational curricula in the fields of transport and logistics, as well as the learning and training elements of the forklift handling . Teachers will improve English skills, especially technical terminology.In German companies teachers will get to know and use the computer program used by the company in the field of transport and logistics. They will be introduced to the enterprise's work whose main activity is the transport of goods and passengers in an international working environment.They will get to know the work of companies whose core business is logistics and freight forwarding in an international working environment and learn about the work of the airport Mainz and river ports Neuss on the Rhine. Staying in Germany will contribute to and improve the knowledge of German, especially the knowledge of technical terminology in the field of transport, logistics and freight forwarding.The acquired knowledge and skills will be used for the modernization of existing curricula (especially of the motor vehicle driver) and complying to the requirements and needs of the economy and labor market.Professional practice of students and teacher training spent abroad will contribute to a common vision of the consortium schools: prepare students for equal participation in the European labor market.
