We are a Vocational semi private School under contract with the state education department. The project aims the students of thehospitality - culinary sector. The educational project of our institution (Institut Supérieur Marseille Cadenelle) focuses mainlytowards Internationalization. In a context of globalization, it seems making very much sens to us, to mobilize our students on apositive approach of foreign countries and their cultures.Project summary:Twelve students in their senior year of High school (vocational programs : "culinary art" and " Restaurant Service and Sales" will carry out their 5th internship in Norway and Malta. The mobilities will be held in two countries, in the region of Ålesund in Norway and in the San Gorg Bay, in Malta from September 10th to October 14th, 2017, (5 weeks).They will evolve in catering companies in close collaboration with their tutor.Our two middle partners are :In Norway, the Fagerlia high school, represented by Merete Årvik. It is through her and her team, we have been able to implement and improve this project for more than 4 years. Merete selects companies and performs the welcoming and monitoring of our students on the spot. We carry out an assessment visit on the spot at the end of their stay. Their program of activities includes a component of cultural discovery.The main objectives reside in:-opening to others-acquisition of autonomy-development of language skills-Discovery and development of professional skills-drafting of a professional activity reportFor Malta, the ITS "Institute of Tourism Studies ST. Julian's" represented by Ruth AzzopardiWe send not only our students in internship abroad but we offer to our partners to host a number of their students so thatthemselves can benefit from this experience. Foreign students staying a few weeks in France always meet our students in "culinaryart" and " Restaurant Service and Sales" fields to talk about their future profession, their culture, of their projects etc... Thisconnections are essential to the understanding of other people and their differences!In addition we put them on the path language skills improvement through the Europass Certificate and its supplement.The objective is also to ensure that no youth exit the school system without qualification. Mobilities are a very effective motivationtool.
