In international youth exchange "Participants - competitors - Winners" attended 40 young participants in age 16-19 years old from Poland and Italy. The main theme of the project was sports, international integration and tolerance especially in relation to the deaf. The project was designed to increase the awareness of young people about healthy living and physical activity. There is a need to show the public that modern youth is not only a generation of not having "nothing better to do" than sit in front of the computer, eating fastfood'ów and being indifferent to others, regardless of appearance, origin, economic status, color of skin or health. During the project we experienced: the need for cooperation, division of roles, mutual assistance, respect for individual characteristics of individuals, understanding across boundaries, fair play competition, fair game-play, physical, social and emotional personal development. By participating in the project we learned the attitude of tolerance. We promoted the values ​​associated with the european awareness. The most important methods, which we used: - integration games - discussions - work in groups - Quizzes and competitions - intercultural/ national evenings Effect of the the project is to create a short film/s, create a group on social network site Facebook (with the consent of participants). Group at this website is to maintain contact between those involved in the project after its completion, make new friends, exchange of experience.
