Partageons un avenir commun européen !
Start date: May 1, 2015, End date: Jan 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

PACE Partageons un futur commun européen ! Share a Mutual European Future ! 30 young people from Suresnes (France) and Kragujevac (Serbia) from 15 to 20 years old, the first in the European Union, the seconds candidate to enter the European Union, share their vision of their common european future through an idea : " The good-living together "! By the production of a documentary, the young people from Suresnes and Kragujevac attempt to answer the question : "What are the keys that allows us to live together ?". As real journalists, in each city they collect the point of views of a wide range of people at events, in schools, in local structures etc. In Kragujevac, they exchange and compare their opinions, they analyze and synthesize to bring out the keys to living well together. That will be put into practice in July 2015 through the implementation of a strong and symbolic action, the "Good living together Day", designed by the young people involving the locals, to share this same desire to build a common European future ! The documentary finalized during the meeting in Serbia, serves as a support for promoting the values of peace and tolerance. At the end of the exchange, it will be broadcast to the territories, schools, associations or during public events. French & Serbian young people are actively involved for 12 months for the project preparation, implementation and evaluation. Of proposals, they take ownership of the project and are involved from A to Z. The native supervisors help them to implement the activities. The heterogeneity of the group is a mutual enrichment factor: young people come from more or less fortunate neighborhood, from different social and cultural backgrounds. The project also mobilizes youth use “turnkey” stays in order to engage a participatory approach.Constantly looking to synergize with local stakeholders, French partners mobilized a young Suresnois to build up a personal project of a European bike tour, from January to August 2015, entitled EU'Ride. This will also bring evidences on the vision on the good-living together of residents of European Union and neighboring countries. This project strengthens the European sense of the participants carrying European values and improving the employment of young people by developing their skills, openness to the others and to the world, active citizenship, mobility and critical mind. It also seeks to strengthen local public youth policies and dynamize local actors’ network. Twinned since 1967, the cities of Kragujevac and Suresnes opened a new chapter of their cooperation in 2014. They wanted to establish a strong and lasting partnership in the youth policy, which leads into annual meetings between youth professionals of Suresnes and Kragujevac to share their experience and good practices and develop cooperation projects implemented by and for the youth, one year in Kragujevac, one year in Suresnes, responding to territory issues. This dual “professional – young” approach is part of a long-term sustainable process to respond to non-formal today’s young people needs.
