Critical sections on the Danube River in Serbia are identified in the Master Plan for IWW Transport in Serbia (2006). The objective of this project is to finalise thenecessary designs and tender documentation for river training works on six selected critical sections on the Danube river from Bezdan to Serbia in order to start rivertraining works and improve navigation safety conditions. The project also includes pre-feasibility study / general design and feasibility study / conceptual design for allcritical sections on the Danube waterway from Bezdan to Belgrade. Works are foreseen between 2013 and 2016.ObjectivesNecessary designs and tender documentation for river training works on six critical sections on the Danube River in Serbia finalized, in order to start rivertraining works and improve navigation safety conditions.
