Paper Train - Developing a new training program for operators in the paper, board and corrugated board industry
There are two big issues within the paper industry sector that this project intends to deal with: the ageing of the employees and the lack of time for in-company classroom training. This project is based upon an already existing project that runs in the Netherlands, focusing on multi media teaching material, a model for in-company training and guided self-study for operators in the paper-, board-, and corrugated board industry. The aim is now to lift the project to a European level. The new project will develop 42 multi media e-learning modules in four languages. They will consist of: a competency meter, an organizer - a guide line for the trainee, a paper based workbook, paperClip software, practical tests and instructions for the supervisor/instructor.
