PACT Public Administration and Continuous Training

The learning association “PACT” has had as a principal purpose the improvement of the continuous training for the employees in Local and Regional Public Administrations. An International dialogue has been carried out among European Institutions in order to make easier the development and the transfer of innovate activities in this area. These activities have been fixed to analyze in an exhaustive way the Continuous Training Systems carried out for each one of the Entities which take part of the learning association. This analysis has allowed having in every Entity a high level of knowledge of the different Continuous Training Systems. For that end, a division by stages or phases of the CTS has been done:Stage 1. Detection of training needs.Stage 2. Implementation of the training needs.Stage 3. Evaluation of the Continuous Training Activities.Each of these stages it has been analyzed in every meeting we have had. A conclusions document which reflect common points and the differences of the used systems have been obtained. In each meeting carried out among the partners we have shared the information related to the Continuous Training applied by each Entity and this information has been strengthened by technical visits through different Training Centres and Entities related to the Continuous Training. Each Entity have develop a descriptive Document (final report) where, in a syntactic way the training Systems of each one are described in order to highlight our applied Systems. Likewise, each Entity has identify its own Good Practices carried in order to be useful for being applied and transferred by the others Partners (vertical and horizontal transferability) to others Entities related to the Continuous Training in its own countries.
