The survey made in 2009 by the Thematic Group on Peer Review of ENQAVET, reflects a high demand from VET providers from at least 18 Member States to start transnational Peer Reviews by 2010. Meanwhile each Member State, by June 2011, must improve its Quality Assurance System, by concretly assuming and adopting tools, procedures and methods coherently with EQARF reccomendations. Transnational Peeer Review is considered one of the most tangible and useful tool to improve quality in VET. The project has primarly aimed at implementing transnational Peer Reviews at European level, by involving VET providers from Italy (Associazione FORMA.Azione srl), Germany (PerspektivWeschel), Turkey (Happy Kids), Social Partner from Lithuania (VET Trade Union) and Regional Body of Italian VET System (Regione Umbria). In addition, it intended to promote further exploitation of the results of the three previews Leonardo da Vinci projects on Peer Review, by using and testing the structure and process developed by the Thematic Group on Peer review of EQAVET. The Transfer of Innovation has been based on the European Peer Review Manual, the Tool Box and the "Proposal for a structure and process for transnational European Peer Review".The main outcomes of the project are: check lists of SWOT analysis factors of Transnational Peer Review; best practice catalogue of information/dissemination and support actions developed by the project and Quality Assurance and Learning transversal measures adopted.
