"Our wedding traditions" is a project, which seeks to implement the purpose of expanding the horizons of young people, to encourage the development of family ownership, learn about other cultures, their wedding customs, beliefs and understanding of the concept of family relationship, as in different cultures, this concept is different. These exchange will be about the wedding differences and similarities in selected countries. We think it would be interesting to analyze the tradition of wedding dances and traditional food. The exchange are for young people aged from 16 to 25 from Lithuania. Poland, Romania and Italy, who are ready to go into actual problems faced by the family, discuss and express their opinion about the family, as, perhaps, the greatest value of importance, because in reality family is one of the most important thing in our lives, so this project will try to influence young people to think about the creation of a family, when you need to create it, and whether to require. We wonder what young people think about the wedding, about these days families and their attitudes . Also, we would like to discuss issues such as: when to marry? is the wedding important or we can live without it? how to build a strong family? what impact wedding makes to persons‘ social life? We are going to review and non-traditional families, marriages, and also the problems faced by the family: violence, quarrels, anger, divorce. Our project criteria for the partners are: a desire to participate actively, share their experiences, views, be open to new things on learning. The project aims to achieve the specific expertise required. Since in the exchange there will be a lot of discussions about problematic situations, because of the different cultures, opinions may not coincide, the participants will develop in themselves understanding and tolerance, thanks to that we will achieve friendly and cozy atmosphere. Young people will learn to tolerate and evaluate other nation. Also, participants will find out more about other countrys‘ customs and traditions. Participants in the project, during the exchange, will get a lot of information not only about the customs of other countries, but will also have the opportunity to look for their country wedding customs that have evolved over time or completely disappeared, what innovations came, what dominates the most. There will also be discussion about family planning, designing, and this will help young people to think about their future family.
