We want to enable our staff to their professional growth, improving their language competences, gaining motivation for further work, becoming inspired by educational systems in Europe and becoming more interested in European Commission programmes. We would like them to make contacts for sharing experience. We would like to extend teaching through CLIL.
Our basic school have a considerable experience with Comenius projects of international partnership and cooperation, but with hardly any individual mobility. Most of the teachers felt the lack of language competences in communication with our partners. We would like to take the opportunity for staff-training abroad not only for its great effect on the language developement, but also for its intercultural dimension.
For this project we have chosen three perspective teachers who are very interested in language courses abroad. We expect them to share experience, bring more information about courses supported by Erasmus+ and motivate our teachers for participation in similar courses.
We want to promote more projects of international partnership and we believe that in this way our teachers will have better tools for the communication with our partners.
The experienced teacher who teaches English at primary classes using CLIL method, will disseminate the gained knowledge by giving seminars for CVKHK teachers´ training organization and by training our staff or teachers in our region in the form of language- methodical course. She plans to work on methodology for her own teaching aid and spread method CLIL within the Czech Republic.
The other two participants at courses abroad will use the gained skills in using English in other subjects (CLIL) with their children at elementary level. We assume that the close cooperation of the three teachers and using the CLIL method will to be a good example for others to follow.
Results and impacts of the project will be controlled by monitoring the lessons a monitoring the other teachers´ interest in language education. Moreover we expect rising interest in our school. We will monitor number of visitors to our school websites and interest in studying at our school.
