Start date: Sep 1, 2015, End date: Aug 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Auto-Mech Project addresses to the students in grade 11 and 12 in the departments of Motor Vehicles Technology, Electricity-Electronics Technology and Machine Technology of Afyonkarahisar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. The Project consists of 16 students and 2 companion teachers from the department of Machine Technology, 16 students and 2 companion teachers from the departments of Motor Vehicles Technology and 16 students and 2 companion teachers from the department of Electricity-Electronics. The Project consists of 48 students and 6 teachers in total. Our school has a mission to educate and train qualified intermediate staff required for industrial sector. Although the practical and theoretical education are given to students to make them gain qualified intermediate stuff property, employment of their professions in markets are reducing from day to day. After graduation, to provide employment to our students, they are required to be educated better in the way of mechanical, production of electricity-electronics tools, maintenance of tools and reparation of these tools. The most wanted requirement in the field of Electricity-Electronics Technology is the qualified employee who will program PLC used in automation in industry. The requirement in the field of Machine Technology is qualified employee who is able to control electronics of machines and implementation of electromechanics. In the field of Motor Vehicles Technology, the basic problem is the requirement of qualified employee who is able to diagnose the vehicle breakdown and carry on the maintenance and reparation of electromechanics system in automobile sectors. If the elements of the profession improve themselves in electronics, computer using and foreign language, they will be qualified employee who have best conditions in the markets. The subjects determined in our project aims to provide intermediate qualified staff in every fields of the sectors in our country. Thanks to this project, our students will have the opportunity to see European implementations in their own place. The responsible of mobility is our companion teachers, project team organized by our partners from abroad. The dissemination stage will be carried on by our Project team and our school management. The education institutions which will provide the opportunity of education and training for our students have great experience based on years. From the department of Machine Technology, 16 students and 2 companion teachers will have mobility on the dates of 24th April – 8th May 2016 to Vilnius/Lithuania. From the department of Electricity-Electronics Technology, 16 students and 2 companion teachers will have mobility on the dates of 15th May – 28th May 2016 to Dresden/Germany. From the department of Motor Vehicles Technology, 16 students and 2 companion teachers will have mobility on the dates of 5th June – 19th June 2016 to Vilnius/Lithuania. Participants will participate in 2 weeks (14 days) internship programs.
