The 'OSZ Lotis for logistics, tourism and taxes' is structured into four divisions offering vocational dual training, full-time school vocational training and educational programs for admission to higher education under one roof. The school resorts to more than 15 years of international contacts and partnerships, and plans to expand, deepen, and establish new partnerships in various educational programs. The aim is to form a network of international cooperation and communication, and thus implement central strategic aims of the 'OSZ Lotis'. By doing so the school strives to educate "independent and competent persons" (according to the school mission statement) and to develop the communicative and cultural competences of pupils and students as well as lastly the staff as well.To achieve this aim, a team of teachers should be enabled by training to strengthen the European work of the school. Two fellow teachers are already participating in a training measure, two more are planning to do so in order to act as multipliers in all of the four departments of the school. Through the training sessions, participants are informed on the European dimension of cross-border cooperation, they will acquire knowledge about application processes, planning, implementation and evaluation of projects and they will learn didactics as well as methodology of intercultural education.The thus acquired knowledge and skills are taught among the teachers in specific teams according to their educational background in order to form the basis for an internationalization of teaching and of school life at 'OSZ Lotis'. The fact that different groups continue to work on this European project assures to expect a sustainable impact of this development.
