The Lycée privé of the CCI of Nîmes is a vocational school that trains each year about 400 students for a vocational A'level in the specialities of Administration and accountancy, Business-sales-reception and Health care. The Lycée employs about 50 teachers in these specialities. In September 2015, it will have new courses called "Mention complémentaires" in Hospitality and catering. The European and International mobility is one of the priority of the school project. The Lycée has got an International department since 2000, its main aim is to allow to all the teachers, staff and students to carry out an European experience. In the framework of ERASMUS + and through the present application, the Lycée applies for two types of activities : - staff training abroad - VET learners in firms We wish, during the two years of the project 2015-2017 : - allow 10 of our teachers and staff in vocational and academic fields, motivated and involved in their job of transmission of knowledge, to leave abroad for a week in a professional European context in order to improve their professional and linguistic skills, discover other stratégies of knowledge transmission, share the professional good practises and extend their cultural horizon, - give the opportunity to 30 students in the second, last year of the A'level and in "Mention complémentaire" who come sometimes from some underprivileged backgrounds, to carry out a 4 week work-placement in Europe in their training speciality such as, in business-sales-reception, administration, management, Hospitality and catering, Health and Care in order to improve their professional and linguistic skills, to rebuild their trust and develop their capacity to go on to higher education and to increase their employability. - allow 3 of our teachers to accompany during 4 weeks, the students in work-placements in Europe in order to make this mobility a beautiful experience. Through a working group called International Mobility, the Lycée and its International department work in network with the European partners in order to set up the planned European mobilities in the best conditions ; This working group will have meetings twice a months in order to manage and follow the different actions through efficient management tools (rétro plans, statistics, testimonies,...). The project will have many expected outcomes (in qualitative and quantitative terms) : - For the teachers/staff : they will improve their linguistic skills, they will have a realistic knowledge of the European firm and education background and get a good adaptability. - For the students : a high success rate by passing some better marks in oral languages, some recovered and enriched professional skills, getting more adaptability and autonomy. All these emphasised personal qualities will allow in the long run, teachers/staff to give more sense to their education missions and give them the opportunity to develop their career, the students will be able to gather enough strengths to access higher education and access to rewarding positions by raising their social level. The Lycée of the CCI labeled "Lycée des Métiers du Commerce et des Services" will have got its European attractiveness increased and will be able to enhance : - the number of students in the college to follow some courses in an international context - the number of participants engaged in mobility - the number of European partners.
