The project will be attended by 28young people (8 in initiative group and 20 participants). Initiative group includes students andgraduates of University of Szczecin from different specializations, at the age between 22 and 29. The group of 20 will containyouth at the age between 13 and 18.The subject of the project will be non-formal education of science by creation of experimental infrastructure - double-arm lever- which shows the way how a simple machine is working. It will be implemented by meetings (e.g. planning, educative),workshops (e.g. plastic, science). Each part of the project will be lead by young people (initiative group) and for young people(participants).In modern society such abilities as cooperation with other people and planning skills are becoming more and more significant.Most of educational institutions are not helping to create them. This project will give a chance for young people to form thoseabilities. Nowadays, the most requirement jobs are related to science. However, most of young people believe in the stereotypethat science is very difficult and boring. This project will help to prove that it is not true by the presentation of the practical part ofscience. The direct result of this project will be an active participation of young people in each part of the project, what will helpthem to achieve new abilities (cooperation with other people (from different milieu, at different age or different beliefs), planningof some performance, experiment, creation of new design), procure of experience of management of the project. The long termresult will be to take part in breaking the stereotype of science as a boring subject and creation of experimental infrastructure.The project will take place in Museum of Technique in Szczecin between 1st of May and 31 th of July 2011.
