"ON-LIVE: Tools against Cyberbullying"

According to a study done by Save the Children, 1 of 10 young in Spain is suffering cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is not so visible for teachers, many of them disconnected from new technologies and they feel powerless in a situation they can not control. We have also observed the ease and impunity with which occurs because young people do not control the consequences of actions that seem, in principle, simple and innocent and which many youngsters participate actively or passively.OBJECTIVESThe objectives of the ON-LIVE project are:- Create a support network between organizations and schools to work on the issue of cyberbullying in the classroom from the perspective of non-formal education.- Visualizing the impact on the person who produces cyberbullying and prevent it from happening among young people- Increase knowledge of teachers and educators on their use youth online tools. Understand its operation and its dangers.- Research on the causes and impact of cyberbullying on young people and present good practices to prevent and eliminate it as well as present and test tools that work to address this issue in schools.- Create a T-comic-kit with activities for young people based in comics and also a publication with advices for young mediators in cyberbullying.- Training teachers to use non-formal education strategies in the classroom to work on the issue of cyberbullying.Target groups to which the project aims are three: youth workers who develop tools based on NFE, teachers who can use these tools to prevent cyberbullying and finally, young people themselves who will receive workshops to prevent this attitude and take an active role in their fight against it.This project plans to achieve a minimum of:6 project coordinators (a coordinator for each partner organization plus a financial coordinator Cazalla Intercultural)6 young workers experts in non-formal education responsible for developing the T-Comic-Kit and the publication of "Tips for Mediators in cyberbullying".60 teachers from schools in France, Spain and Italy that will access to the tools created during the project.700 young people participating in the workshops of testing the T-Comic-Kit and mediation workshops.150 interested in the subject (teachers, youth workers, youth, politicians) will participate in the final national conferences.Activities during this project are:A1 (Virtual Meetings)A2 (Evaluation and Monitoring)A3 (Coordination and financial management)A4 (Visibility and dissemination of project)O1 / A1 (Research about cyberbullying)O1 / A2 ( Development of the publication "Guide of Good Practices on cyberbullying")O2 / A1 (Development T-Comic-kit)O2 / A2 (Workshops testing T-Comic-kit)O3 / A1 (Development publication: "Tips for Mediators in cyberbullying")O3 / A2 (workshops for mediators in cyberbullying for young people)M1 (Kick off meeting)M2 (Preparation meeting t-comic kit + preparation meeting for the publication: "Tips for Mediators in cyberbullying")M3 (Meeting Mid term Evaluation + preparation testing workshops T-Comic-kit and mediation workshops)M4 (Meeting Evaluation)E1 (National Conference)E2 (Conferenza nationale)E3 (Conférence nationale)C1 (Seminar of Experts)C2 (youth worker mobility from Spain to Italy)C3 (youth worker mobility from France to Spain)C4 (youth worker mobility from Italy to France)The project methodology will include various approaches, which consist of: Collaboration, research, development, approval, implementation, testing and feedback.Tangible results will be: an investigation into the situation of cyberbullying in classrooms in Spain, Italy and France. A guideof good practices on cyberbullying for teachers and youth workers. A T-Comic-Kit, a tool for both teachers and youth workers can work this issue with their young and a publication "Tips for Mediators in cyberbullying" especially aimed at young people with the aim of creating groups of mediators in schools and are the young people themselves mediate, prevent and raise awareness on this issue.The impact is assured due to the combination of research and publications, training, testing, and this impact is focused on achieving greater training of teachers, youth workers and youth to prevent and raise awareness about the issue of cyberbullying.The long-term sustainability is also assured due to the selection of partners working directly with young people and they can use what they have learned in this project in the future, and also thanks to the different formats of intellectuals products and its transferibility.
