This project proposal entitled as regards the training of trainers and trainees by the sectors of Engineering and Agronomy, Food Technology and Nutrition of the 7th EPAL of Thessaloniki.In the extremely difficult economic and social situation, which affects Greece and many economic sectors of it, integrated management of by-products and waste can be the way to promote renewable natural resources, while contributing to the sustainable management of the environment.The participants of the first mobility is expected to be 10 teachers, who will stay for 10 days in Spain after consultation with the host institution, the MOVEU, while the participants of the second mobility is expected to be 20 students with two coordinators-teachers, who, will stay for 14 days in Spain after consultation with the Agricultural Research Institute and Technology, IRTA.The planned duration of stay abroad is sufficient to meet the educational needs of the participants to acquire specialized knowledge on issues management of by-products and waste of the agricultural production, and how these European standards will be in harmony with current developments bothin Thessaloniki, and the rest of Greece.Through theoretical and practical courses, workshops and study visits, participants' training needs are covered by the plan.The specific objectives for teachers are directly related to the needs of the teaching process and focus on the following:1. Improved technological knowledge for trainers in products and waste management, and the production of these quality products with relevant economic benefits.2. Familiarity with systems that certify the qualities applied in Spain.3. The training using the English terminology.4. The development of professional skills in teaching technical specialized topics using lessons plans.The specific goals for the trainees are directly related to the needs of vocational training, focus on the following:1. Their specialization in one important technical field, both as a agriculturist and mechanical2. The experience of learning – training in a sophisticated European Environment.3. The transfer of knowledge and practice in modern Greek labor market environment.4. The acquisition of qualifications for the pursuing jobs.5. Contact with entrepreneurship and their ability to follow the professional and social progress.6. The mobility experience which can be adopted for finding a job in the European Union.7. Their contact with other cultures and the need of learning other languages as means of professional evolution.8.The use of the English language and the need for general learning other languages as a means of vocational rehabilitation.9. The development of critical thinking.After the end of the main mobility implementation activities, the expected impact for the participants will be to gain knowledge and skills for the training object, strengthening formal (europass certificates) and actual qualifications (empirical and experiential training) strengthening their self-esteem, active participation in society, the development of critical thought, personal development, strengthening European citizenship and development of their language skills.The proposed mobility action will bring considerable profits not only for the participants but also for other groups - targets, through the diffusion will take note for the Mobility Plan. By doing this, full use of the learning outcomes will take place of the Mobility Plan, helping both the local and regional development. In conclusion, it will be an excellent good practice guide, pushing more entities and organizations to participate in European activities.
