Özel Gereksinimli Bireylerin Özgün Durumları Temelinde Avrupa Meslek Stajı

12 people from our corporation, 8 participants and 4 companions, were involved in this project. Regarding our partner Doğan Çağlar Private Education Vocational High School, we organized an internship program in the textile coloration area for the orthopedically handicapped participants. We cooperated with an expert institution in Austria, Loackerhuus Lebenshilfe Vorarlberg GmbH. Regarding our cooperation, 4 participants and 2 companions from this institution participated to our project. We completed our meetings with Spain based Aspandem institution on graphic designer area for the hearing impaired participants of our partner Kemal Yurtbilir Private Education Vocational High School and we presented all details of our project. Regarding our cooperation, 4 participants and 2 companions from this institution participated to our project. These flows were accomplished in March and April 2016.
Based on the special situation of these individuals with special needs, in this project, we had a goal which focused on society accepting these individuals with special needs and not limiting their lives physically. We wanted them not to become consuming individuals within their existence struggle in the society, we wanted them to have professions so that they could be a part of the production and we wanted them to become individuals who are not excluded both physically and emotionally. We aimed for them to not become individuals which get paid in big businesses because of the work law, we wanted them to become individuals which have responsibilities and goals. Our project was successfully accomplished. Some results may be observed in the medium term, but we can say that we raised awareness for these individuals and they gained self-confidence and that was the most important step for us. In addition, we built the core of this self-confidence on a real foundation with vocational and technical developments.
Participants were able to develop their cultural and social sides in Europe with this project and with increase of their linguistic and vocational skills, they took very important steps to become qualified individuals for the workforce industry.
After the acceptance of the project, the project management department was responsible of all steps of the project and they were in charge of using the fund budget. This department was responsible of all details from organizing preparations before the project to preparing final report and they successfully completed this project.
Such project was reviewed with all of its outputs and after these reviews it was qualified as successful. Even though all of the spreading operations in the application form was accomplished, we believe that the real effect of our project in the region will be observed in the medium term on promotion of Erasmus+ projects.
