When we evaluated the difficuities experienced in our school , the problems with the classrooms for students with special needs come first.These classrooms are designed and tecnologically equıpped for students with special needs by Directorate of Education in the begining of 2015-2016. We have observed that our teachers continiously exchange their ideas on this issue and by consulting the head teachers and analyzing the applications of other school they are trying to be more efficient and more effective.Our teachers need to use new and different teaching methods and techniques for teaching students with special needs .Also they need to effectively use classrooms –all tecnologically devised by National Fatih Poject by Turkish Ministry of Education.In addition to this,the teachers doing this Project are allteaching subjects such as Turkish,Maths so they need to improve themselves professionally in special education. Our Project ‘Digital tools(applications) in special education’ starting with the students with special needs in our school aims to contribute to the teachers’ professional development and to enhance their language skills and cultural knowledge by making them use technological tools efficiently and effectively in clasrooms and also help them to creat more efficient learning environment .It also aims to contribute students’ academic success by using techniques such as 3D Desing and Video Theraphy.For these purposes in our Project we have aggreed to take part in the course ‘DigitalTools for students with special needs’ to be held in Italy by the basis of our Project ‘European Grants International Academy Srls Unipersonale ‘. After taking this course ,our teachers are expected to use technological tools in special education ,to encourage the students with special needs to use various means of expressions .to creat more efficient and effective environment,to promote the use of different aspects of technology and individualised Education Plans by updating their teaching methods. Our school set up a committee to select the staff who will take part in this Project and execute it effectively.In accordance with this commitee criteria the five participants (teachers) have been selected in a fair manner.The teachers who will attend the course on 07-13/11/2016 inPerugia,ITALYŞENAY TURAN DEPUTY HEAD TEACHERESRA KORKUT TURKISH TEACHERNURAY KARAMAN TURKISH TEACHER The teachers who will attend the course on 13-19/11/2016 inPerugia,ITALYMUSTAFA ATIGAN MATHS TEACHERÖZCAN SAĞDIÇ TURKISH TEACHER ALL planning and preperation to be made before and during the application process will be executed by the Project team.The Project team in cooperation with our course provider will make all arrangements such as accomadations and travel.In addition,the provision of information and documents related to the course,monitoring and evaluatıon will be carried out with the cooperation of the course provider. The Project is planned for twelve months. In this process ,our main goal is to study on special education and computer technology,to run seminars and to disseminate the products.For this reason,our teachers will first exchange their ideas and share their experience they will have during the course with their colleagues and start to apply the methods they have learned at our school they will encourage the studentd and parents to get involved in the Project then they will disseminate these methods and techniques with other schools and staff in their region and country. During the Project, we will disseminate the products,reports,videos,photos through brochures or leaflets for teaching students with special needs.We will organise exhibitions of products that the students with special needs made by using digital tools.All work will be published District Directorate of Education website an,d in school dashboards ,local press,e-twinning portal, EBA(EDUCATİON Informatıon Network)and on social media. The project will increase the quality of our school, which will contribute to achieving the objectives of the strategic plan in school, our school and staff will have Western European vison and great experience for other European Union Projects.
