The main goal of the project is the contribution to sustainable development with aim at maintainig and protecting of the nature heritage. Achievements: The aim of the project was the cooperation between Slovak and Hungarian organisations with a public background to help the protection of the fauna and flora in Syslovské polia and Fertő Hanság Nemzeti park. A more specific target of protection was the great bustard which used to live in the area between the three states of Slovakia, Hungary and Austria. The species are now being repulsed by the activities made by humans, the consequences of which can be limited in order to ensure the survival of the protected species along with the needs of the inhabitants of the area.
