Within the project it is planned that the teachers' knowledge levels in the consultation models based o cooperation and they participate in the trainings based on sample practices on the consultation approaches, processes and skills by setting forth the importance of the consultation services in the schools. The project mobility activities planned as three flows and for one week in the institutions of Avicenna College in Holland. The specific goal of the project is improve the consultation skills of the teachers towards the parents in order to contribute the participation of the parents in the education process. The general goal of the project is to enhance the academic success of the students by making the parents supportive in terms of education. The social and open systems educational institutions have to develop continuous and regular relations with the environment in order to perform the education-training activities successfully because education isn't a process that takes shape only in the school. In this process the parent is the most effective environment outside the school. However, in the Turkish education system what comes to mind first when talking about school-parent relation is the events such as boring meetings, which aren't so efficient and productive, the discipline-weighted informing and warnings are made at. While the school considers the parent is a body to cooperate with in order to ensure the discipline, the parent considers the school as an institution that performs education-training activities. The parent isn't in the opinion that it can play an active role in this process. This situation doesn't carry the school-parent relations too much far from a certain artificiality and causes to be perceived that these two bodies have separate functions and shouldn't interfere in the business of the other. On the other hand, it is a known fact that the harmony and success in the school-parent relation and the active participation of the parents in education have a positive impact on the education of the student. It is understood that the academic success of the students are higher as their parents who have a consensus and cooperation on a joint program with the school and support educational support to their children with this common understanding. It is highly important to gain the parent a certain level of consciousness for the parent participation in education and the first phase in this process is the teacher-parent communication. One of the important services is consultation that teachers can benefit from in order to develop a joint guidance understanding with the parents and maintain an effective communication with them. Consultation is generally to provide a person the opportunity of problem solving, behavior change and improvement through the other person or persons who are a part of that person's life. In particular, it is to work jointly with the teacher, parents, manager and other education professionals of the student in order to understand and handle the student. This process includes information sharing, comparing and combining the observations, exchange of ideas, appreciation and approval, planning and hypotheses for behavior and action related to a student and his environment. The teachers, administrators and parents become a part of counselling services thanks to the consultation based on cooperation. The improvement of knowledge and skills of the teachers, administrators and parents and cooperation help the occupational counselling services for the students be supported and executed in an effective way. The project is foreseen to provide progress in the followings for the participants; The improvement of their knowledge level in the consultation models, approaches and processes; Learning the task descriptions of the teacher, administrator and parents about the Cooperation-based Consultation Models used in the Schools; Gaining practice experience in applying the consultation steps according to the different consultation models; The improvement of their participant- and solution-oriented communication skills and foreign language skills Methodology: A project execution body to be formed within the school will be responsible for the project processes of logistical support, preparation, mobility, budget management, selection of the participants, reporting and other works.
