Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Aug 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

Today, young people come face to face with many challenges throughout their education and the the working life process. İt is fact that they come face to face with many challenges after the global economic crisis affected the European Union. The most obvious indicator is the high increase of unemployment among young people across the European Union. In July 2015, the number of unemployed young people in European Region became 5,5 million and as a result the rate of unemployment of young people increased to 23,4%. Also, the number of unemployed young people aged over 15 was 3,1 million and the unemployment rate stood at 10,3% in Turkey. In the content of European 2020 Strategy, the employment rate is targeted to reach 75% by 2020, and to reduce the young people’s unemployment rate, it is necessary to improve young people’s transition of the youth labor market. To ensure the young people’s entrance of the labor market, it is important to train their knowledge and skills that are needed by the labor market while the community become more important among labor market. Some of the most important strategies of “Youth On The Move” that is located under the European 2020 Strategy are; the mobility oppotunities for students and trainees, providing overseas recruitment process, and better experienced youth for labor market. Both our project coordinator school and our partnership schools are training the skilled manpower that is needed by business World and bot hare the qualified institutions that educates the gradıates to achieve vocational qualification for business World. However, the lack of our schools make both fail to reach the requirred professional qualifications for employment. For education of qualified personnel required by the industry and solving the employment problem, it is necessary to ensure our students training facilities in modern equipped workshop and to fallow the technological development of the industries. Our school Çerkezköy-Kızılpınar Multi-Programe High School, and both our project partnership schools Sakarya Fatih Vocational and Technical High School and Trabzon Vocational and Technical High School can’t offer the opportunity of being qualified tecnical staff to their students because all all of three schools can’t find modern and equipped company to train our students for being a qualified staff among the business World requirements. The students training Electrical&Electronics Technologies of our school and our participating schools aim to increase their employability and to develop themselves for employment. On behalf of achieving these purposes, it is planned that our paticipant students will become experienced and qualified graduates as it is requirred by industry after the trainig activities in modern and well equipped schools and companies. İn additon, our students will gain cross-cultural awereness, also they can develop the adoption of European Citizenship and they can improve their foreign language skills through the tarinig that they do in Europe.
